C H Gayle - the incorrigible/encourageable bully.

Islander 2021-10-16 00:16:35

Very few of us will question Gayle's gift for power hitting and even his test cricketing aplomb. Those days however are now mere stardust. Gayle knows it and so do his enablers, yet he hangs around for one more hurrah. We may get one, maybe one. Sadly in his unwillingness to leave the stage the Administrators have allowed him to demonstrate an embarrasing level of pettiness and disrespect akin to an insecure fearful child unwilling to accept when told that he is not as good as the others so he needs to sit it out.
His outburst at the great Kurtly Ambrose is instructive. He said he is 'done' with Ambrose. I surmise Sir Kurtly could not care less. Christopher Gayle's self adulation and narcissism conceal a weak fearful frail man child clutching at a straw. This mess of an epilogue is sad but avoidable.
Gayle should not have been selected. His performance has been - for quite a while abysmal. He is a caricature of his former self. The IPL trots him out as a mere show pony feeding fan fancy. His name has spectacular cache. That however is definitely not the qualifications for a team with numerous outstanding and much better producing players waiting in the wings.
CWI must save us from this monster before he brings us further ignominy. No more hands-off enablement.

There is a saying about those who know not and know not they know not. Please research the etymology of the word and associative spellings then pull up your slip and scram. Furthermore you obviously did not perceive the linguistic relevance of the words.
Btw. the post was meant to encourage intelligent exchange and not for your type.

A certain WI batsman should've quited while 'they' were ahead

Now it's disgraceful and embarrassing

Continue Islander - yuh good with it. Hold yuh ground, linguistically speaking, it flew right over...

One word comes to mind: lilliputians.

In the words of the late Dada linguist Richard Cox. What a bunch of Lilliputians...the adj.

Is Islander a pseudonym...one half of a double handle? Notice the stylee.
a. Telling men that the post is beyond their intellect
b. The consistent angst re Gayle wrong or right.
c. The backhanded compliment of the target of the post (Gayle in this instant as is common).

If my premise is true then at least Islander has the Courtesy...sorry GRACE of being present in only one half at a time HEHEHEHEHEHEHHE

By the way writing Kurtly is also an attempt at playing fool to disguise oneself. Every single cricket fan on planet earth knows how Ambi's 1st name is spelled
