DOES NADAL JUST GET BALLS BACK?

No. One of the biggest issues with watching tennis on TV is that the angle does not show the true level of play of these players. The power, spin, and simple sound of a the ball is watered down by the angle shown. If you watch in person, you’ll be shocked with how hard Nadal is hitting and how high the ball bounces on his shots. On TV, it may just look like he’s getting balls back and waiting, but in reality, he is aggressively breaking down his opponents through blistering spin and power and wearing their bodies down as well.

I suggest watching Nadal or any pro player play in person. It’s a whole new world.

I have been lucky to see Nadal in person on Ashe in a seat that was very close in a day match and it is mind blowing.

Agree fully Dukes!
LIVE is a different animal to TV
You miss the replays and someone telling you extra stuff about what’s going on but the richness of the experience more than makes up for it.

Watching Holding or Patterson deliver the ball and as they deliver Dujon or other already taking it in the glove
The way Neymar moves off the ball when the cameras aren’t watching…

Unreal universe these elite guys are on

In reply to Dukes I have seen him play in person, but see him practice which puts you real close - is like watching a machine. He gets into a rhythm and its incredible to watch the precision and power – and those thunder legs and that Popeye left arm--- and he is so quick --- what gets me is the size/height of some of some female players and their thigh muscles are like tree trunks
