"This is where they belong"

Plagiarize from a commercial I once heard.

Amen to that. Long may they prosper in club cricket. Just keep both out of international cricket.

Of course they will shine now. It's about the money. When playing for the West Indies, they couldn't care less about performance. And one would expect that even if the West Indies isn't able to give them the big bucks, at least pride would encourage them to put out a little effort. But hey, who needs pride and patriotism when only the big bucks matter?

you guys should save your anger for the guys now in Sri Lanka, why worry about people playing, rum and curry goat cricket in some bush league?

Why be angry at the guys in Lanka? They are probably doing their best based on their past records. It is not their fault that they are not fully up to international standard. if 22 children sit an exam and 11 fail, it is not necessarily that they did do their best. It could just be that their best was not good enough. Many are called but few are chosen. You can't punish them or be vexed with them for that.

so why criticize the guys that are someplace else making a money?

That’s not consistent with the narrative now is it?
When they lined up and made themselves available to play the WC it was about money too.
Keep y’all stories straight at least lol

In reply to Halliwell Yes, it was about money too....not enough. Hence the lackluster World Cup performance. These guys are about the highest bidder. And that's exactly my point.
