Ross Taylor has announced he will retire from international cricket at the end of the current home season with the upcoming series against Bangladesh being his last Test cricket before he finishes with the ODIs against Australia and Netherlands

Felt humiliated....removed from captaincy...sought Mentor Martin Crowe advice....was advised to concentrate on his personal performance...did so....was in tears after becoming highest New Zealand batter..... adieu ..did his job well..

I hope after this big announcement, Ross Taylor does not come back and demand a fete match to officially end his test career.

In any event, he will look stupid if he does this, because Cricket New Zealand will never entertain this type of foolishness.

I rather suspect it's a Caribbean Ccricket organisation, with Ricky Skerritt at the helm.

No...His shenanigans to get to the first IPL changed my mind about his sincerity. I know too much of the machinations that transpired then.
