WI is not in a position to beat India in India, for me I would like to see a minimum score of 250 batting first, and getting at least 7 wickets each time India bats!

Tour Expectations ....
In reply to camos
250 +
Especially when India rested their main bowlers
To be competitive when we get thumped 3-0. Try to make scores over 200 at least.

We can score 200 in T20 against Paki in
Pakiland but not in an ODI. Strange team

We played 4 ODIs against India in India in 2018. Our scores were 322 (L), 321 (T), 283 (W) and 153 (L). We lost 2 won 1 and tied 1. Hope and Hetmyer each scored a ton and a 90+ during that series, and the bowlers from both teams got nuff licks. No need to lower our expectations on this tour.
In reply to Narper
We have fallen so far in the eyes of the top teams that they no longer feel the need to field full strength teams against us.
In reply to Walco
Are you expecting scores like those?
In reply to camos
Why not? Sharma scored easily. We have batsmen who can score runs. They just need to apply themselves. We are playing against an India B bowling attack.

I would be happy with anything close to 200. And taking at least 4 wkts.
In other words, similar to the first ODI
In reply to Hendra
It is just the W.I. Facing Chahal over 10 overs is too much for this team. Spin is something the men just can't handle.
In reply to Walco
You have to remember that was over 3 years ago. Haven't you realised that this team is not improving. It is to be expected.

Loading up on Mindies 200 calls?
I would be thrilled if we were to win the series
Id be happy if we win at least one match
Most of all, I want us to at least be competitive in every match. The first match was NOT a good start in that direction.
Windies surpassed my expectations in ODI #2
It's all downhill from here on!
In reply to VIX
We still can't get past 200 runs.
In reply to Windiesfan78
was still a better performance than the first game!
well! any real surprise?
And notable performances in the T20 v England had no relevance on team selection?
They stick with Bravo who is going downhill faas, and no place for Rovman (not his biggest fan) who is in the form of his life.
To be competitive, once again, batting frailties let the side down.

team selection is a political power play, the next election is always the focus.
quite a good series for the WI in this defunct format!
they were able to cross 150 in all matches. And take some good wickets. Well done.
On now to the real cricket!
In reply to camos
I think our expectations were too high. They couldn't even muster 200 runs in any of the matches. This team is poor as usual. One day cricket is by far our worst fornat.

The sad thing is you wouldn't even get a good deal from the bookies if you tried to make that wager beforehand.
But this:
is the absolute truth. The WCQ (a near-certainty at this point) is gonna have the WI fan base dreading the worst.
