This guy is in a world of hurt.
Vix and others were highly skeptical of Trump ever getting prosecuted for the numerous crimes committed.
What is different now? He is not in office and courts are allowing all suits and criminal charges against him to go forward.
I don't see a way out of it for the guy.
Trump is toast.

Consequences at last
What consequence?
More things change more they stay the same...whenever there is a new charge alyou say the same ting, putting cart before horse..what is different now?
What is he in hot water for? Anything he did in office? And what consequences?
The man has been in Court all his life fighting all kinds of things....
At this point the man is still as likely to be re-elected to office than any serious outcome.....
Btw....I thought you all said Melania was leaving as soon as they left Office?
Lol....all you lost on all counts because alyou think with your hearts not your head.
This is liable to disappear.... at this point this is just to taint him so
.. or to put it simply, more politics at work.
All these people are the same.....
The current President just take the Afghanistan people money to give to lawyers and victims of a tragedy that they already receive all sorts of money for.....while the people over there starving. I wonder what alyou woulda said had the former one did the same.
But not a peep pon here.
All corrupt, all bad, all without consequence.....man.
Quite frankly, all Trump has done is shown how deeply flawed and corrupt the whole thing is....he expose the whole cabal for what it is....and alyou still act like is just he and waiting for it to change....but alyou calling other people crazy.
The man show all of you what is happening in that realm under covers.....and alyou still eh learn a ting.
In reply to Ayenmol
It's funny that you are saying this and not realize that these matters are now in the hands of the criminal justice system and not politicians who are scared of losing their jobs.
In reply to black
All the man is saying is to hold strain and see what happens
We have been here before and every time was some reason to think this time he ded
Just hold strain but not your breath
In reply to black
You guys been preaching the demise of this scumbag for years and he survived. Look at the many in the media who predicted his downfall but they lost their jobs and the lowlife is still free. Chris Cuomo, Jeff 'Wangster' Toobin, Michael 'The Extortionist' Avenatti to name a few.
He has not been charged for any crimes much less be convicted for anything and your are getting yourself wet already. Relax.
What we should be concerned about is what national and ally secrets did he give to Putin. Putin seems very emboldened right now and the West is scared. Why?
In reply to Ayenmol
Correct. But the other pillars of the cabal corruption Inc, are the media especially cable TV talk and the justice system.
That said, can't wait for Trump to spend his last days in prison- I do realize I may never see that happen.
In reply to Halliwell and nitro
Yes, the politicians were spineless and bullied by Trump into submission but we are not dealing with politicians anymore.
Plus, DOJ have not even started yet.

When he becomes the next President , His Attorney General will drop all charges at the Federal level.
Civil lawsuits can be dragged on for years ....
We blame Australia for its criminal beginning , and forget America.
In reply to sgtdjones
It doesn't work that way, only Governors and the President can go back retroactively and obsolve someone of criminal charges.
Presidents cannot pardon themselves.
In reply to black
For anyone else that could make a difference for Trump . Well the law/Laws have never been his Kryptonite --- he has been an effective escape artist from all things legal --- not so sure this time will be any different --- hope it will be, bot wont hold my breath
In reply to black
I am not expecting jail time for Trump but I would like to see a conviction where the evidence supports such a move, that will have consequences and Trump who has to borrow a lot of money will be greatly diminished when things are settled.
Allyuh misfits still ent get it.

Dude, I'm trying to tell you that this is no longer some bullshit political game. This is now in the hands of the criminal justice system.
You guys are failing to recognize the shift that has taken place right before your eyes.
Karma is indeed a very Cruel Bitch. Here is a man who despises Black People, and is in Legal Jeopardy due to
2 Black Women, who are the Attorney Generals, in two American States.
It aint going to be pretty, when he is in Court, and having
to be interrogated, and provide evidence in the cases brought by these two Attorney Generals.
Worse yet is the fact that these two cases are going to be prosecuted by these two 2 Black Attorney Generals, I
have no doubt is going to be on TV.
Obviously it aint going to be pretty, having to answer questions from these 2 Black State Attorney Generals, who are women, and obviously will relish interrogating him in their Cases .
I have absolutely no doubt that these two Attorney Generals
are going to be at their very best in presenting their Cases, as Attorney Generals. C'est la Vie !!!!!!

Given the chance, Trump wouldn't have attacked the likes of the Ukraine. He would've instead attacked sh*t-hole countries like Haiti and Africa.
I'll make a prediction.
All that Ukraine based info on Hunter Biden we craved will soon be available for our consumption.
By the way, Rudi agreed to testify before the Jan 6th committee. They are also working on a deal for Ivanka to testify.
Well that celebration ended quickly.....told you all, how many years ago? This will never come to anything.
I told you all specifically about the NY investigation.....the people in NY investigating will likely lose their own career than put that man in jail.....
Has anyone been more accurate. Alyou still doh understand how corrupt this system is and how people protect others just to keep their own chances and dirty laundry in tact.
Keep looking to these people for real change. Definition of insanity.
The Manhattan DA investigation had been stalled for a long time. The investigations to look out for are the civil lawsuit against the Trump family and the Fulton County DA investigation.
The information gained by the House Sub-Committee investigation could also be turned over to the DOJ. And, Merrick Garland is also conducting Jan 6th criminal investigations

I'm not an expert on the criminal justice system so I will defer to you on that.
As far as the Presidency, I don't think the system was created with someone as dishonest as Trump in mind. The system did speak of Tyranny but did not envision someone like Trump would come along that is willing to exploit every opening within the system that was granted to the President. Besides the crimes committed by this guy, his most effective weapon is in holding his party hostage and in line with threats being primaried out of office.
In reply to black

It also did not envision that even if there was someone like Trump, that one arm of the government would protect someone that despicable and evil. That at least congress would not be filled with people who willing to turn a blind eye for the sake of expediency. They did not account for that at all.

Arizona official describes immense pressure from Trump and team over election - live updates
Raffensperger disputed Trump's claim to Georgia investigator Frances Watson that he had won the election.
Asked by Schiff about the accuracy of the claim, Raffensperger said No he did not.
What happened in fall of 2020 is that 28,000 Georgians skipped the presidential race and yet they voted downballot in other races. Raffensperger said. And the Republican congressman ended up getting 33,000 more votes than President Trump. And thats why President Trump came up short.
- Kenneth Tran
The Georgia Republican voters (some 28,000 of them), rather than vote for Trump, didn't vote for any presidential candidate at all.
In reply to maj
What does that mean?
There does not have to be more unequivocal evidence than they can handle, there has to be unequivocal evidence.
In reply to maj
Here is what you are missing, there are going to be a lot of people at the top prosecuted for this scheme in the coming weeks. It would be odd and unprecedented for everyone but Trump to be punished for this heinous crime.

The DOJ is asking for records and the committee has not honored their request. Why are they not doing so?

Or are we using the misfits' timekeeping? Which would mean anytime in the next few centuries.

The Jan 6th committee wants to finish its own investigation before handing out information to others.
Besides, why don't lazy DOJ do their own investigation?
In reply to Halliwell
maj's claim to fame on here is starting a Covid numbers thread that he took a leave of absence from.
You sure you want to hitch your wagon to him?
I do not know if Trump will end up in jail but he should face charges for his role in attempting to make the 2020 election null and void. I do get it is more fun to poke at lock him up people.

longest running thread ever..
I should revive it, Mr. shutdown the virus still hasnt done that, infact hes yapping about a 2nd pandemic already!!
In reply to black
Requesting documents from a committee is lazy, only in a Biden admin this would be read as such.
In reply to nick2020
That imbecile actually thought that under the Dotard's stewardship Murica was going to be safe from the virus and the pandemic - hence why he started the thread.
The best part of that thread was during the time when the Dotard was telling his dotards on national TV to drink bleach and stick a UV light up their asses as a remedy.
In reply to maj
Why weren't they conducting their own investigation?
In reply to black
Too busy talking about the racism of high gas prices!!
In reply to maj
it shocked me that gas prices and inflation are only high in the USA. no other part of the world is going thru this. it has to be Biden
In reply to sudden
America has the highest inflation amingst developed nations, second only to Germany. It's not transitory and its not Putins fault.
In reply to maj
Dude, I am tired of you and your Republican talking points bullshit. None of these things you are interjecting have anything to do with Trump committing criminal acts.
Why stop at Trump?
Why not free every criminal that committed crimes during these times of high inflation?
In reply to black
Republican BS..
Who said Inflation was transitory??
And Powell said just yesterday inflation was high before the Russian.
Seems to me you can't handle facts.
Until Trump is indicted and found guilty its all wishful thinking.
In reply to maj
Dude, this is nothing but obfuscation. Criminal acts by Trump doesn't have anything to do with the price of gas.
Criminal acts have to be investigated and prosecuted, regardless of gas being $4.00 or $8.00 per gallon.
In reply to black
I was responding to Sudden and I'm also stating my opinion that Americans have bigger worries that the Jan 6th hearings.
Obviously many on here including yourself have an unhealthy with everything Trump. I could careless like most Americans.
I'll repeat, until he is indicted and found guilty its all wishful thinking.
In reply to maj
Dude, it's obvious that you got these talking points from conservative media. Inflation and prosecution of criminals can be tackled at the same time.
Well, I do care about Trump trying to steal the election. Do you realize the implications of this criminal act? Do you think Democrats were going to idly stand by while Trump stole the election? This criminal act would have plunged the Country into civil war.
Ok, you are willing to wait and see what happens but the process MUST go on.

Trump cracking down on Republicans using his name to 'bully' voters for donations: report
As Josh Dawsey and Micheal Scherer wrote, big supporters of the president have been reaping the benefits of using the Trump name as the midterms loom -- but the former president is not pleased that the cash is flowing to them and not into his coffers.
The report is from the Washington Post, so there might just be a tinge of bias exhibited.
Now we're hearing it from the horse's mouth.
Russian state TV host says she's having second thoughts about 'whether to re-install' Trump as president
The Daily Beast's Julia Davis has posted new video showing Skabeeva taking a more critical eye toward Trump because he is apparently no longer so eager to heap slavish praise on Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"The other day, Trump promised to destroy the Russian Federation, to destroy Putin's hegemony, as he put it," she said. "Now we have to think whether to re-install him again as the American president! We haven't decided yet."

Shot Down: Rep. Lauren Boebert's Gun-Themed Restaurant Closes In Colorado
The restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, which was best known for its pistol-toting waitresses and a 2017 diarrhea outbreak, shut down on Sunday, according to multiple reports.
The Daily Beast reported last month that the buildings new owners - who also own a cannabis dispensary - revoked her lease. An unnamed source was quoted as saying the new owners felt a moral imperative to shut it down, but did not elaborate.

Citing two sources with knowledge of the situation, The Times reported that any efforts to give back classified material fell by the wayside in the tumultuous final days of his presidency.
Per the sources, Trump and his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, were consumed by "settling political grievances and personal grudges" and ignored the task of passing sensitive documents to the National Archives.
