Wait 13 matches a team used to play back then? In the last U19 WC they played 6 matches. Dewald Brevis (Next ABD for SA) finished the tournament with 508 runs after 6 innings.. average of 84.33 and a S/R of 90. He along with Khan from Pakistan and Dhull from India would've passed those guys with ease if they played 12 matches.

Okay. My bad I missed that. But the list that you posted was last updated in 2014. We are in 2022.

Anyways here is the updated list for you.. your highlighted player Kraigg dropped 2 places to 5th.

It shows our decline in players scoring runs consistently at any level.
I did not know my northern Alberta neighbour Donovan Jomo Pagon had the highest individual score of 176 runs.
We have to share a few pints at our friend brewery.
The last list you sent, shows we are not working with our youngsters after the CWC;
2018 Anthanaze scored 418 runs, 6 matches, why is he not sent to an academy?

Here are the stats for WI batsmen at the U19 WC.. the standout player as of recent is Alick Athanaze with 418 runs in 6 matches @ 105.50.. only now he getting a knock in the President XI squad.

He has a SR of 73, some will say that super.

What the link shows is that the major team players padded their avg against the lesser teams.
