My tribute to Shane Warne the legend!

WestDem 2022-03-06 20:29:39

Just want to pay my tribute to Shane Warne with this photo, he was an Idol that was younger but his competitive nature on and off the field was as honest as honest can be! He reminded me of Michael Jordan my other Idol, I had to chose a name for my fist born in 1997, Shane it was!

Shane Warne may have died young and for many too early but I can guarantee you he enjoyed every moment of oxygen in this earthly world. He lived life his way and only his way. He was a unique character both on and off the field and never backed down from a banter. He was always one who reached out to kids and helped them grow with confidence. Even though we all think and know of his legendary status, he always considered himself as a normal person just like everyone.

Shane Warne, walk in piece big man and go bowl down Bradman, Hookes and Dean Jones and they will have to pick you for the OZ team in the heavenly world!

cool cool cry cry

One of the best wrist spinner that ever played the game.
In any All Time World XI Shane Warner will be my choice as a spinner .
He was also a brilliant slip fielder and a fairly decent batsman to score 99 runs in a test match.
He was a very fierce competitor, and a unique person .
For me, the only batsman who mastered his bowling was Carl Hooper (I know this will cause a lot of critique) However, Lara was brilliant facing him .
I enjoyed every moment of his commentary as a cricket commentator .
Warnie, we will miss you, but the world will be talking about you for years and years. RIP

Shane was a good one. A really good one. And a friend to many WI cricketers. He had his issues, he did live life kinda hard but really seemed to be settling down in the last 2-3 years. That's the sad part. Honestly the shock is still there. When i first saw it on Fox cricket, i honestly thought it was fake news and the the editor and reporter had been duped

Shane Warne is one of the most dishonest people ever to walk this earth. Most Australians are dishonest, please stop it

i disagree with that. Steve and Mark Waugh were dishonest. Ian Healy was dishonest. Shane Keith Warne wasn't

You got it wrong my friend
Please do not get confused with being a fierce competitor as against being dishonest
Two totally different things
Shane Warne was a honest, but a fierce cricket .

Shane Warne had his day in the sun and no doubt, he enjoyed every moment.

Very few people can allow themselves to do that.

totally agree....which is why i singled out three of his less savory teammates. Warne used to play like a West Indian......thrilling aggression, enormous skill and level picong if you are a Trinidadian. The more i think about it though, the more i think his bout with covid may have played a part in his death.

This might be true from other reporting I read but I will wait on the Toxicology report...

I still can't believe he's dead.

He's definitely the greatest leggie I ever saw. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to him on commentary too.

R.I.P. Warnie.

That's why he was loved across the spectrum... Nice tribute.

. “The director of the hospital said from the autopsy that he died of natural causes. His father had said that he (Warne) had suffered tightness in his chest and planned to have a medical checkup when he returned from his holiday. The cause of death is natural, not a murder.”

Clearly you are an unhappy person.

You are also a despicable person to label a country with more than 25 million people as mostly dishonest.

You obviously don’t understand Australian culture. Win win win even if you must use a razor blade to mess with the ball
