200 on the cards

200 might be a stretch, I can see around 140 to 150

Could be a good sign in that the wicket is getting better to bat on.

last wicket partnership is now the highest in the first innings

THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR YEARS!!!!! FINISH THEM!!!!
This partnership reminds me of the last wicket partnership between Ken Higgs and John Snow at the Oval in 1966, the 5th. test. Our quicks gonna have to try and bounce these guys out rather than allowing them to keep playing forward.

I was just thinking about that game.It was frustrating to the extreme..Illingworth
was the captain and rallied that beaten down Team to a wonderful win to reclaim some
British pride. Remember turning off the radio one time.

Hmm you might be right after all
50 partnership
This is some shockingly slack cricket from wi

Brian Close was the captain. Murray the keeper shared in a big partnership with Ken Higgs coming in at 10 , then Higgs went on to share in an even bigger one with Snow, coming in at 11. Murray made a century. Sobers made a first ball duck trying to hook Snow, caught by close fielding at very silly square leg. 9 out of 10 people would have ducked, Close didn't. WI did win the series 3 -1.
Not blaming Alzarri and Seales for falling asleep. They should be bowling not chasing balls hit off of part time bowlers
In reply to Logic
This is unacceptable!!!! This innings should have been over ages ago!!!
Wondies looking for these guys to give it away... instead of attacking. SMH
In reply to Windiesfan78
Yep. No way that Seales and Joseph are tired even if the other older bowlers are. They should be bowling. It sends a terrible message to the team to see Brathwaite lobbing balls from around the wicket outside the leg stump of the no.11 batter
From 114-9 to 174-9.
In reply to Logic
They should be bowling now. This has gone past ridiculous.
Must be looking at the over rate.
In reply to Windiesfan78
We need Chrissy to call fuh a wicket. Any wicket.
Poor Leadership by Braffit
In reply to Windiesfan78
Wasting the new ball. If they had left Alzarri on we would either have got one of these out 15 overs ago or got them injured
In reply to Cole
Horrendously poor! Was he worrying about the over-rate fine or a suspension? wtf
In reply to nick2020
NO. If she does... no wickets will fall.
She has to call for over 200 runs.... something along the lines of "these guys getting over 200+" then.....

75 runs too many. That gives the downtrodden team a lifeline and confidence they do not need.
This could turn around and bite us in the ass.
Braffit - why was Joseph not given the new ball.? He is our fastest bowler.
Sorry guys
Now a new ball and only 2 close fielders. No short leg. Geez
In reply to Curtis
Holder looked tired. But there was nothing about Joseph and Seales' bowling earlier that suggested that they were tired. They were beating bat when they were taken out of the attack 25 overs ago. R
We allowed these men to make 200 runs. This is typical West Indies. From a position of strength to a get out of jail free card.
