(My cousin) Dinanath Ramnarine.
His only claim to fame is the now infamous delay of game tactics once employed to secure a draw in a test match at just about the point when everything seemed lost.
Faoud Bacchus, never played to his potential.
Carlton Baugh, squandered many opportunities.
didnt Bacchus have a test double ton? and I think that Dinas was the last decent spinner (i.e. someone who actually spun the ball) that we produced. I think that he was frustrated by poor onfield management and gave up too soon.
The names that come to mind first are Lincoln Roberts, Tobago's lone test player, and of course the famous Suruj from Trinidad.

He did have a couple of decent innings, just faded despite his batting abilities. An absolutely amazing fielder.

Dinas took 45 wickets in 12 tests at 30 apiece.
That is pretty decent for a leg spinner.
