Out with Covid
I watched an interview with him yesterday where he spoke to the mental toll that the spate of injuries that he suffered took on him
and how hard he has had to work to regain full fitness. Paul said that there were moments when he contemplated quitting the game altogether but was persuaded to continue because of the support of his family
.he was looking forward to playing in the lickit series
now that wish has been thwarted by his contracting covid
Seepaul luck aint Keemo Paul luck at all

Spare a thought for young Keemo Paul
In reply to FanAttick
Paul will make it. I am actually not too disappointed that he is not in this ODI series as I think that his strength is in the FC/Test arena, rather than in the shorter form. I hope that he is considered for the A team to get some much needed international exposure

Keemo has a good head on his shoulders.
His mentors, family and girlfriend will see him through this.
I am sure he will be back stronger...mentally and physically.

I thought it was a touching interview. I believe he will come back stronger. With the right support system and the right mindset, the sky is the limit.

They should do more of these kind of player features.
I was a fan of Keemo Pauls cricket but became a fan of Keemo Paul when I saw a feature on him where he talented about making the WI team, the death of his sister etc.

Yesterday Bish talked about Romario Shepherd....another heartwarming story as Curtly Ambrose said.....Romario came form very humble beginnings...went to his entire primary school bare-feet ....and today is doing a lot of charity work in his community away from the limelight

I think these kinds of features will go some way in putting a dent in the insularity from fans that exists when it comes to regional cricket

It is these stories that really make me happy to support these guys. Guyana has produced some outstanding cricketers over the years and I always wondered why more players weren't given a chance. I would like to see Tage given an opportunity to play. Also, I hope the selectors stick with Motie. Once Keemo can overcome his injuries, I expect to see this young man become an asset to the West Indies.
