Congrats Shotta!!! Wish you were a bit better with the bat but your keeping was outstanding!!!

Ramdin should've been given a fair run as WI captain!!!

Ramdin was one of the best wicketkeepers we had in years. I really admired the attitude he had as a young player. He showed a lot of maturity and even spoke about his approach to batting. He stated that he didn't look at the bowler but rather the merit of each ball he faced. Oftentimes, the influence of other players can change an individual's attitude. A once promising player still had one good innings left in him. I enjoyed when he scored that century in England and held up a piece of paper with the words 'Talk nuh Viv'. My hope is that he can add his skillset in wicketkeeping to the younger generation in a coaching role some day. I wish him all the best.

I always thought for a batsman with skills as some of the best on the team,he batted to low down the order.

Like all the tits retiring? Simmons now.. maybe lil Bravo next

Denesh Ramdin announced retirement from international cricket earlier today, and another player following him into retirement is West Indian cricketer Lendl Simmons, who broke the news from his Instagram handle. The 37-year-old made his last appearance for the national side in the T20 World Cup last year.

Ramdin was the best wicket keeper for the west indies.

He make bowlers look good. Especially spin bowlers.

Ramdin has the most stumping victims. And most caught behind.

Ramdin used to make difficult catches look easy.

He was one of the main reason why trinidad were so dominating in the caribbean cricket scenes.

I was happy when he was playing for the warriors.

Very good behind the stumps but I never liked seeing him bat.

Happy retirement Ramdin

He took 'your job', didn't he?

Or should I say it another way?

He displaced you, didn't he?
