Guyana Under-19 squad reads Alvin Mohabir (captain), Jonathan Rampersaud (Vice-captain), Mavendra Dindyal, Rampertab Ramnauth, Zachary Jodha, Bruce Vincent, Tommani Caesar, Mahendra Gopilall, Sachin Balgobin, Zeynul Ramsammy, Shamar Yearwood (W/K), Jeremy Sandia, Rivaldo Phillips, and Isai Thorne.

The standbys are Joash Charles, Jadon Campbell, Sanjay Algoo, Goucharran Chuli, Leon Cecil, and Shiv Harripersaud.

Some say team picked without trials.

Yes the team was picked without trials.. Just a day play of so in the U19 inter county tournament and they called it off due to bad weather.

Some saying that the U17 players shouldn't be in the squad too.. De ones I agree with are..
- Thorne (missed the current U17 tournament due to a knee injury.. He is a WI U19 player)
- Dindyal & Ramnauth (In my opinion the two best youth batsmen in Guyana.. WI U16 players, went to the WI U19 WC trials and are part of the Jaguars senior team setup)

As for the skipper.. I'm thinking someone in the GCB setup likes him or related.. Cappo of the U17 and now U19.. plus his younger brother is the current U15 skipper.
