I am a critic of all political entities in T&T , I was born on this island that was once beautiful to me.
My father's family can trace its roots back to the 1800s, my mother's before the Spanish came to Venezuela.
We tilled the soil and became successful, paying taxes to the present.
The citizen's mineral rights were stolen by various corrupt Governments over the last 6 decades plus. The monies
over 220 Billion US dollars were squandered.
Today basic amenities cannot be provided Health, Water, Electricity, Roads, or bridges to citizens.
Crime ranks us 6th world wide. Approaching 300 murders for 2022.
According to statistics provided,T&T ranked 26th globally for rape with 18.48 per 100,000 inhabitants. This year there were 166 cases between January and June.
The government just mentions Carnival and all is forgotten.

Trinidad & Tobago is just a few weeks away from celebrating 60 years as an independent nation, and Arima is celebrating 134 years as a Royal Chartered Borough. The Arima Business Association is asking is there really anything to celebrate?
Port-of-Spain, the 'holey' capital
While the past week has been filled with news of protests over bad road conditions in the southern part of Trinidad, the northern part of the island also is facing its own challengesespecially in the capital city, Port of Spain.
On Wednesday, Guardian photographer Nicole Drayton was able to capture a couple of priceless images in the holey capital.

The committee decided to cancel the event, a few hours before.
It was then broadcasted on various radio stations. Now they will celebrate the event as stated below:
Purchased Tickets will get a refund.
Someone better tell Carnival Flavors that the posters on this board will not comprehend the celebrations before August 31st.
