Dukesie is upset and has left the building following another snub for his bwoy!

I think he petitioning outside the team dressing for Hety to play the ODIs as opener
Brooks batted too damned slow. Those scores being chased must be closed out in the 18th over. Anyone who thinks an opener facing 50 of 120 balls and scores only 50 in T20 is good has been hibernating somewhere. Gayle scored T20's 1st ton more than a decade ago at over 150sr and we lost! This is the slowest T20I 50 by any WI opener ever!

Except cricket is played on the field with live humans...not on a laptop or gameboy

You do not know what it is you do not know. In the matches Kiwis onenot one of them scored at less than 100sr. Do you realize if King was replaced with batsman who scored at Brooks' rate we'd have lost with wickets in hand? T20 has evolved and without rapid improvement Brooks does not belong. Look beyond the Baje passport n beach
In reply to Brerzerk
What would have happened if Brooks got our early for 140SR as he did last match? If shoite had wings.... I dealing in reality not what ifs spreadsheets
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
King didn't play last match there is reality for you
:
It is amazing that the female Bajan comments person said she spoke to Brooks and he is unhappy with his scoring rate, yet people on this board are happy with his scoring rate.AMAZING

Cricket is a team sport, T20 is 120 balls.
Last week I looked at Average and SR, I wanted to compare teams and players.
Virat Kholi showed me, that India is among the best T20 teams in the world.
His T20I average is 50.12 SR 137.66, 91 matches 30 50's, 299 4s, 93 6s.
A team scoring 175 SR should be 210, every time a player falls below a sr of 100 or less, put pressure on the remaining batsman.
A team SR of 100, that team score will be 120 runs, with 175 runs being the norm, all batsman should be keeping up with the SR.
White ball cricket totals, SR and average are the key factors.
UB T20i, 75 innings ave 27.92 sr 137.50 2 100s 14 50s 158 4s 124 6s
Romario Shepherd has the best overall T20i stats in his early career, 9 innings , ave 39.60 , SR 148.87, 7 4s 17 6s

when you talk shoite you have an oversized propensity to talk a lot of it.
who said they are happy with Brooks's strike rate.
what folks have said is that it does not necessarily cause us to lose games as you tend to posit. the comparison being made is when he gets out early and he has, we still lose, with blokes with huge strike rates batting after, giving away their wickets.
what we must look at, is how we as a WI team win games for a start, not how other teams play. we either perfect our way, or trial another way, to see if that works for us.

Bajan sudden I really need to be as verbose as point and add:
Dukes bawlin fuh SR when men cannot score runs. Like seeing a child trying to jump the furthest off the jetty when he cannot swim.
In reply to nick2020
You've hit the nail on its head.
What's the use of having a super SR, when your dot balls percentage is also high, and your average is below the top T20 players in the world..
I prefer a player who stats read; Innings 91, Ave 50.12, SR 137.66, 30 50s, 299 4s, 93 6s.
That player scores 3 4s and 1 6 per inning
West Indies batsman are not consistent, and as the world know, strictly powerhitters.
