I think Devon Thomas is inferior to Shai Hope as a T 20 batsman as he is clueless to International Standard bowling.

The curious case of Fabian Allen is not worth any psychiatric evaluation so I just left him out to maintain my sanity.

I certainly think that's what it's going to be as well but would like to see the following do well in CPL and compete for places!!!

Openers: Rakheem Cornwall, Chandrapaul Hemraj and obviously Lewis would be first choice!!!

Backup Keeper: Fletcher, Johnson Charles, possibly Da Silva just not anyone named Devon Thomas!!!

Bowlers: Sheldon Cottrell & if Oshane Thomas can get his ish together he could be a handful in Australia!!!

he was invited to a camp but was not selected for any of the series after that

he has only himself to blame for not being fit enough

There's Akeal who's miles ahead of him and a good series for Motie will put him further behind how many left arm spinners can we use Chase & Cornwall are better options for variety plus it's Australia our pacers will be used mostly!!!

But I don't think the selectors will pick him given he's made himself unavailable

I am of the view that we should not select any of the 'unavailable' ones for the WC

if you want to build a culture that is not how you do it.

if guys are unavailable for wellness reasons, let them take some more time and work on it

I have been hearing about Hemraj and fitness for some time now. What do you mean by not being fit enough? Does he pass the fitness tests or not? And if not how come he plays for Guyana? Does the GCB has a different test form CWI?

Thanks. Good luck to him with his decisions. Was a player I thought would be a good fit for WI.
Hope he keeps with the game as Guyana's and WI loss could be a bonus for USA down the the road.

Unless there is a complete breakdown, calmer heads will prevail and Andrea Russell, Sunil Narine and Evin Lewis will be selected.

I have Chanderpaul Hemraj in my reserves. At age 28, it is time for this talented player to get some serious consideration.

Indeed if it one player in the last few months who is not deserving of T20 play for the West Indies its Brooks. Lewis is miles ahead if he wants it.

Hosein is in the Top 6 T20 Blowers Allen, Motie and or Walsh needs to step up.

I admire your steadfast love for West Indies cricket.I may not always agree with your choices but there is no doubt in my mind that your one and only concern is the betterment of WI cricket.Your willingness to look past any negative feelings to individual players is certainly not mirrored by the current management team running WI cricket.

I really feel that WI cricket needs people like you in its management.

I agree that we the fans love WI cricket but the aforementioned players (Russell, Nadine, & Lewis) has to love WI cricket as much as the fans. If they can't find the time, energy, or desire to play prior to a World Cup tournament then we all have a fundamental problem.
I agree that Hemraj should have been included in the network of players competing for a T20 slot.
