Many people on this board defer to this kind of asinine decisions by people running cricket in the Caribbean. If people doing crap I will call it, regardless of who is doing crap.
TKR management today royally FCUKED UP.Ah waiting to hear what Ravi Rampaul has to say.

Do you really think Russell can bat for 60 deliveries? Russell is good when facing 1 EZ5 balls or less. He is a swiper.

Did you engage your brain before you responded??
After you look at the TKR batting line up and in view of the fact that you are only allowed 6 wickets before the innings is over, you still post what you post??
In reply to Dukes
It was a puzzling decision to say the least to bat Russell so low
I will give the teams a break though.
New format with more than a few rule changes.
Just like when T20 first came out, it will take teams time to adjust strategies and tactics in this format.
Doesnt excuse what seems to be obvious. But again
Ill give them a Bligh for now.

Who you threatening??? You can't speak on intelligence and write foolishness but I do a hundred percent agree with you!!! So much talent, no brains seems to always be our motto!!!
In reply to WIfan26
not sure wah da is... you probably have inferring issues...
i reference my post to thread... why would i threaten anyone?
And i stand strong, many of our cricketers are brainless or certainly operate that way.

I do not know if you remember but about 15 years ago I interviewed Umpire Cecil Kippins who stood in 10 test matches. One of the things he told me was that before the domestic season, the then British Guiana captain Clyde Walcott would sit down with him and go over all the rules and regulations for the competition.
Everybody talks about professionalism, but do they understand what it means.
Clyde Walcott would clearly know that when the 6th wicket falls, the innings is over.Details like hitting 2 sixes in the first 2 overs unlocks a 3 rd over power play with only 2 players outside the circle etc.etc.He would look at the size of the ground, the left handers and right handers, where the playing pitch is in terms of size of off side and leg side boundaries and every conceivable detail to ensure that he gives his team the best chance of winning.
