Modi has imprisoned over 20000 Lawyers, Civil rights advocated, Judges, teachers, clergy people and professors, scientists and others who have opposed him. For example, the Shiv Sena came up with a nancy story to prove that 6 million years ago, some Hindu diety had a temple in a certain spot, the historian rubbished the methodology and was promptly jailed.
Teachers who teach about Mughal period face daily harassment and lawyers who represent victims of Hindutva persecution, are themselves persecuted.

Pakistan has strict blasphemy laws, punishable by death. But most defendants never make it to court anyway. They are killed based on an accusation.
Many would like to see Imran Khan, a darling of the Pakistan liberal high society elites, in prison without parole. A cuddly puppet in the hands of the Pakistani Army chief, Khawaja, this man is guilty of continuing to torment Islamic Jihad in Kashmir that has left thousands of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits ethnically cleansed or brutally killed. He did not initiate this religious bloodlust; Khan simply toed the line.
