Evin Lewis:
We are going to bowl first. He [Dwayne Bravo] was slightly ill and misses out this game. The most important thing is to keep it simple whether you bat first or second. Rashid Khan comes in.

Faf du Plessis:
We had a fantastic start and we spoke about putting our foot on the gas, hopefully we get another good start and today we can make it count. Royal misses out with a hamstring.

Jaden Carmichael to du Plessis, no ball, Faf has been given a let off. Carmichael had him caught near cover but the 19-year-old has overstepped. Daren Sammy, the Kings coach, affords a smile in the dugout. Quicker and Faf backs away, gets cramped for room and hence cannot control the cut,

Pretorius to Tim David, out Caught by Darren Bravo!! The promotion does not work. The Patriots are delighted as they know the importance of this wicket. And also they won't mind Pretorius bowling so many wides if he can keep picking wickets. The off-pace delivery and it dips right in front of the batter, David is through the loft a tad early and even his bottom hand comes off the bat handle, skies it towards long-on where Bravo steadies himself and takes a fine catch.

Duan Jansen to Wiese, out Wiese Run Out!! Wiese is livid with Edwards. He was not sure whether the ball was and just responded to Edwards' call. Short of length and Wiese misses the pull, the ball rolls off the thigh pad to point and for some reason Edwards wanted a risky single, Carmichael swoops down and fires a direct hit at the bowler's end

This is a repeat of yesterday's batting performance from Saint Lucia Kings. They were once again asked to bat first and their openers got them to a flier. Faf made the most of a couple of let offs and Charles gave him good company, but once the 86-run stand was broken things went downhill. No batter supported their skipper at the other end as they lost 7 for 38 in the middle period and in the end crawled their way past the 160-mark.
86-1 (Johnson Charles, 8.5), 95-2 (Tim David, 10.4), 101-3 (Roshon Primus, 11.4), 112-4 (Faf du Plessis, 12.4), 113-5 (Niroshan Dickwella, 12.6), 123-6 (Roston Chase, 13.5), 124-7 (Alzarri Joseph, 14.3), 146-8 (Matthew Forde, 17.2), 156-9 (David Wiese, 18.5)

Matthew Forde to Fletcher, out Caught by Tim David!! What a rash shot! Clever of Matthew Forde to cramp Fletcher for room with a short of length delivery as he ran at him. Fletcher went through with the slog, couldn't control the bounce too. Top edgish pull, David runs in from deep mid-wicket and takes a tough catch diving forward. Early delight for the Kings.

We needed that. I thought 160 was too short because it has been better to bat in the second innings. The first six we have really capitalized, so that's a positive. But we are making the same mistake towards 14-15 overs. Tim is a great guy. We will obviously miss him but very happy for him. He is someone who needs to be in the international level.
