SA cricket doesn't have charismatic figures like Gayle and Bravo who are also IPL greats. The indian cricket public is primarily attracted by whom they could identify with. Gayle is a larger than life character, so is bravo, pollard and dre rus. SA don't have any players like that. Their style of cricket historically has been very conservative, with the exception of AB de Villears.
