Late Bloomer In Cricket ?

I don't think so.

Shamarh Brooks, Kyle Hope, and Kyle Corbin came through the Everton Weekes School of batting correctly.

I am not surprised by the way Brooksie bats. He has been taught well by the master from U15 to U 19.

Dessie gave him the technique of taking control of the ODI and T20 shots while hitting cleanly.

Bat on Lodge boy - another century is around de corner.

Brooks set the tone for others to follow.

And follow they did. Well done, Brooksie !!

I think that Corbin was the best of the group, very aggressive.

Some players have nack for the higher stage, looking at Brooks, his late entry in international cricket baffles me, I guess it was all about his FC record, but if you are a selector that worth your salt, you should take the leberty to go on instinct or what meet the eyes at times, Brooks did not learn to bat like this over night, he is a touch player like some subcontinental players, selectors are just no good

nothing to do with late blooming, all to do with the absence of a proper CWI developmental program
