As captain of our LO team,was there a specific reason or did Pooran display any characteristics of captaincy material,it was definitely a change by our selectors to choose Pooran.The selectors should have stuck to their selection criteria and all criterias should be ticked off positively,one criteria should have ruled Pooran out.

Some peeps want to blame it on his fellow countryman head coach.

Others think it was recompense for his countrymen's support if not initiative for displacing the Big IDIOT as the WICB head honcho.

I certainly do not think he should be the ODI captain!

he was consistently our best batsman in the LO, let us not forget and he did beat Aus 4-1 when Pollard was not available

he took GAW to the CPL final but that is not really a biggie given GAW's unfamiliarity

as someone said above, this may not be a question if he was scoring, given we lose with or without whoever is captain

exactly......he can't balance the two.....no shame in that. chanderpaul could not do it either. i think he'll give it up after the WC, regardless of where we reach....unless we win
