No wonder Barbados cricket has become the laughing stock.

How/why is it a laughing stock..........I may not comment, I just want to know how you arrived at that.
In reply to cherri
Why Kyle?
What has he done to get a pick?
Would you not want someone like Chase to replace him, can Dowrich bowl?
Seem to be all friendly picks.
In reply to openning
Ahhhh man Shai is into de friend ting bringing his brother in wtf!!!!
In reply to WIfan26
Who allowed this nonsense to happen?
dowrich deserves his place in this side kyle hope i have no idea about that pick
In reply to velo
Is the team short of a Wicketkeeper/batsman?
Dowrich replaced Chase, can he bowl?
Name brands is not the way to select players
In reply to openningdowrich is good enough to play purely as a batsman hisrecord is far superior than many batsmen in the region 7 first centuries at average of 33.00 either him or hope can don the gloves that is the guy you want sitting on a bench ?
In reply to velo
Who will bowl Chase ten overs?
In reply to openningthey might have to split overs between kirton and carter.
In reply to velo
Is that the way to select a playing X1?
Our cricket has gone to the dogs.
This reminds me seeing Roland Holder wicketkeeping for Empire, none of the Blues fans saw what was happening to the Blues product.
Continue with the devaluation.
In reply to openning
Although I agree our cricket especially ODI cricket is crap you repeat the same Shoite all the time. Come wid some new stories nuh
In reply to sudden
I took you 5years to come to that conclusion.

To be honest I would rather Shayne Moseley Leiniko Boucher or Shian Brathwaite over Kyle...
the replacements for CHASE should have started and wreak havoc in the Super50: Joshua Bishop and Comarie Boyce...any of them should have played instead of Warrican
Obviously the selectors have no faith in the youngsters although they have the stats to back them
In reply to openning
You once said Kyle was the better Hope.
In reply to analyst-kid
Shaun Brathwaite yes
Bajan selectors dont know how to pick a squad for ODIs
The batting is crap, the bowling ordinary and the captaincy unimaginable
And it has been so for a long time now
In reply to sudden
Agree with you! Bunch of scared conservative old farts!
In reply to sudden
Led by the guys from Waterford.
In reply to tc1
Name them
In reply to sudden
It would take the whole day, but I try Springer, Dow, warrican and possible Kirton.
In reply to tc1
Oh I thought you meant selectors
Shian Brathwaite too
I dont think Kirton
In reply to openning
Dont understand why you so fixated on Dowrich having to be a carbon copy of Chase. There is no quality equivalent to Chase. But there is a full squad of players that will have to be shuffled to maintain the balance. The question for me was why Dowrich was not in the squad at the outset. He is still one of Barbados' best batsmen and probably has more runs left in him than Carter
In reply to Logic
Would you select a player solely by experience, who has not scored runs in some time?
Disgraceful performance by the Pride. Kindly pick a team that can bat 50 overs.
this is the worst bim side that i have seen
In reply to velo
Telling me, where is the batting depth?
In reply to sudden
Bulli bull Bim today.
In reply to Windiesfan78
They didnt get that deep. Will let you know when they get there.
Shai Hope feels he is bigger than the Barbados team and it shows in the lack of cohesion in the Bim team this season. Even during Covid, Shai refused to play unless Kyle was included in the squad (and then they both tested positive for Covid) so Kyle Hope coming out of retirement the minute Shai is captain of the Barbados team is no coincidence.
Ashley Nurse wasn't available, or they coulda picked Ryan Hurley...
In reply to Larr Pullo
Ashley Nurse or Kenroy Williams could have replaced the allrounder Chase.
In reply to analyst-kid
Alcindo Holder on twelfth man duty.

In reply to analyst-kid
you were critical of Nurse for many years and now you want him back in the team.
But I would not mind having the 20 yo Rashaad Worrell as the opener with Rasheed Roberts as the all-rounder.
The team is slim on batting and bowling with the reserves.
In reply to tc1
I was critical of Nurse esp in the four day format. But the spin options for Barbados are limited with Chase out and Joshua Bishop recruited with the Acadamy.
Replacing Chase you needed a wicket taking spin option who can bat. To me that could only be Nurse or Williams.
I ask whats the difference between Bulli and Nurse?

In reply to TheTrail
Shai was 13 at that time. He about 6 years older.
In reply to analyst-kid
you are making valid point ,noted,
Nurse is less talented than most cricketers, but he gives his all.
This Bim team is slim in batting and bowling, The youngsters need to step up. Springer, Zach, Jordan, Boyce, Kirton and Simmonds

This Bajan guy Matthew Forde playing for CCC seems an excellent white ball bowler....he is miserly BOTH in T20 and List A. I recall him in a CPL match with figures 4-0-9-0 or something like that...excellent for a pacer...he has gone on to the Super 50 with miserly figures again.
In reply to analyst-kid
he was a key allrounder at wc20 and opened the bowling, this year may help him ascend to the Bimshire team in the near future. He will be competing against Mayers and Holder.
In reply to TC1
How come there is no love for Kevin Stoute? He is an all-rounder who could easily replace Chase in Bim's team.
In reply to TheTrail
I have not lived in Bim for decades, and is not aware of the comparison, but why age may make a difference is that Kyle is at least 5 years older than Shai. At that age difference the younger sibling may outperformed the older over time.
However, you stated this was not the case.
Did Kyle started playing at QC before going to Lodge?
In reply to analyst-kid
Ashley Nurse or Kenroy Williams? Smh. Look how you got Imusic making mock sport at you. We at last bury that dud Nurse and you want to resurrect him. Stuupse.
Jokers now go and drop Primus. More evidence that Bim team is an old boys club. Some nuisances you can't get out of the team while other talented players only get a half chance but they get the drop.
For some reason Nicholas Kirton seems to be the new golden boy. Doing sweet FA but cant get drop
