The fact that Australia’s pacers, who decimated England last year and couldn’t take one wicket in the session means that our bowling wasn’t that bad. I expect our batsmen with reasonable application and grit to get close to their score. The pitch definitely doesn’t have any demons in it
283 is good for this line up. When last have we scored over 300 versus good opposition……England in the Caribbean this year wasn’t good opposition. I think I mentioned earlier in this forum that I felt this lineup was incapable of scoring 300+ versus a decent bowling attack, even on a pretty docile bowling attack
