Guess they are sticking to their aggressive strategy. However the pitch looks like it will crumble from here on! Match probably over in 3 days!

I am getting old Prof, but I seem to recall a certain West India got a 7fer on debut as well.

Is that true?

Were the overs bowled in 1902 six or eight balls?

Six.

Today's first session lasted 2 1/2 hours, to accommodate Friday prayers, which explains the higher number of overs.

I thought King took the 1st 4 never knew it was 5.
A talent who never got his due. When he came back
after about 6-8yrs he came to the wkt with G.St. A
on 96 smashed a 4 and a 6 got caught hitting out
and never played again

big grin big grin

Yep, Poms chasing quick runs to declare and Sammy's steady line n length bagged 7
By the way I believe Alf Valentine took a wkt in his 1st over and perhaps the 1st
7 of 8 to fall if not the 1st 7

Mark Wood bowled one spell of four overs for 20, but it's said his quickest delivery was 97 mph. I would wrap him in cotton wool for the Ashes next year.
