I was not attempting to post what was WI best year.I merely posted a great year when we beat a great England team 3-1.Why do I say the England team was great?

They had Cowdrey, Barrington and Dexter in their batting line up and Trueman and Stratham in their bowling line up well backed up by Titmus.

Also in that series,Sobers averaged 40 with the bat with one century and 2 half-centuries, took 20 wickets and 8 catches including 4 off Gibbs mainly at backward short leg.

If you want to show that the 1984 England team was stronger than in 1963 then go right ahead.
