Two great and decent men - Kareem and LeBron

Well done LeBron
In reply to Chrissy
Long live the King. Am glad to have been a witness of this incredible career.
Knicks Baby!
It's wild how good he has been for so long. Seriously, still at the top of his game. Even Jordan at 38, while still playing, wasn't the same guy.
Insane talent and dedication.

James spends over 1 million dollars on his fitness each year. I know becuase......
In reply to bdaTryangle
In Kareem and Jordan era teams played defense and you actually got fouled instead of imaginary ones!
In reply to Chrissy
great achievement
that's gonna end up around 45k and perhaps not broken, ever...not in our lifetime for sure

Tell them...
In reply to bdaTryangle
Maybe not, but didn't Jordan average 23 at age 38 after plenty time out of the game?
You do know Jordan's era was one of actual TOUGH basketball, right?
Scoring has been made MUCH easier in this era too.
BTW, two words...Jason Terry.
Congrats to LeBron on the great milestone. However, he is no Kareem.
In reply to Chrissy
Well done, he is now the Brian Lara of Basketball. It was an extra treat to see Bro Kareem there to pass the baton.

Great career! great player!
can't we just give him his accolades without having to bring Jordan in the conversation?
In reply to Emir
How so when Tendulkar is the leading test run scorer?

Great career for Lebron.
MJ is the GOAT. Hated him when he kept killing my Knicks
In reply to ray
Looks like it was deleted.
Lebron is has his pay masters. He is not as 'great' in terms of 'nobility' as some want to make him out to be. Let's just acknowledge that he is one of the greatest players ever and not lie to ourselves about all that other stuff.
He will keep his mouth shut to protect that paper. He's only 'brave' when there's nothing to lose. The Chinese and the ADL have him, like many others, under manners.
The end.

In reply to nitroandthey came the closest to beating the 90's bulls had them 2-0in the eastern conference finals andthey came back and won 4 straight

Likewise!

Yes, Jordan and the Bulls have wrecked the dreams of many a franchise that we support. Knicks, Jazz, Pacers, Magic, Blazers, Cavs, and others.
Anyway, LeBron. Amazing achievement. How many more years does he have in the tank?
Anyone notice that Lebron got the record, and then sat and watched his team lose a close game?
In reply to doosra
Every single one of those dudes love shading each other.
Ego.
In reply to JahJah
seriously is there another sport where there's so much ego at stake...man those guys really thrive or die with it
