Simple answer: Carnival in Trinidad, every-ting shut dong. And its wrong. Do you see India, Eng, Aussie, et all shut down their tournament for a sin festival?

CWI should not have given matches in Trinidad to clash with that street festival.

ALso check out the historical performance of the TT team right before and right after carnival. wink

Eid,

Are you crazy or just being wicked? Eid is roughly two months away and nothing is ever shut down for it

In reply to silver No wonder they cannot find sponsors. Stop after 2 rounds and start back a month later. Add to that how can the stop/start develop players? What a waste!

If they put just a fraction of the focus, energy, creativity and care to towards planning our cricket, as they do when it comes to partying and carnival, our cricket would have still been top dog.
