- Palmyra Stadium in Region 6 will be starting soon.
- Uitvlugt Ground to be rehabilitated in Region 3 to international standards
- One currently in progress in Region 10
- All weather facility currently being build at Providence

If you are at the venue; please ask the Minister for an update on the two Track & Field Centers that were being built in New Amsterdam and Wismar.
Two years ago the newspapers said that they were 80% finished... I don't believe either facility has been completed...

I'm not at the ground.. During the lunch break they showed a feature. Apparently the minister met with the players this morning before start of play.
I found an update on the Wismar centre. Looks like the artificial track now going down, maybe it's finally at 80%. Gotta see if I find anything on the one in New Amsterdam

Hardly anything in the air... Batsmen like Anderson don't really exist in the Region anymore.
I know Sarwan will pick him... Will play the three remaining rounds for Harpy Eagles.. Gonna get his opportunity at home, so hopefully he makes use of it.
Demerara should be playing Shamar Yearwood and Perez... Both of them got more to offer than Sachin Singh and Sankar.

As I stated in earlier posts, I said watching Viv, Hetty and Athanaze bat prior to making the WI team that they will play for the WI… I now fully agree that, as I’m now watching Anderson bat (for the first time) on YouTube here in my living room in FL….my next prediction he’s the next FUTURE WI batsman!!

Looknauth got issues with his action... Think he was reported at the U-19 level. He bowls a bit slower than both Sinclair at the moment, but it's still too quick. All three of them need to vary their pace more.
I still think Junior got the potential to be better than both of them...

The axed National all-rounder was too hot to handle while playing for Cosmos Sports Club in Trinidad and Tobago at the weekend.
He scored 106 from 122 balls which had six maximums and nine fours. He also claimed 4-74 in 22 overs with the ball.

I heard an interview with Pestano a couple weeks ago where he said that a selector told him as long as he(the selector) was around Pestano would never be selected to a Guyana squad.
My view is that such a person should NEVER be involved with selection for any team in the future.

Lots of insiders trusted me and told me stories about how they dealt with talented threats to their vested interests.
These interests were usually family/family friend, community, club, church/religion, school. lodge. race, political party, urban/rural, etc.
One umpire told me if he didn't rob cricketers from other parishes at schoolboy level, he'd never have been promoted.

Ah don't know its which selector, but one of those selectors had de responsibility of selecting the Berbice squad and the other is now responsible for players development and is also the manager of the GCB select XI. That could explain why he didn't make either squad.
It's sad but that's how things work in Guyana... bunch of power drunk people at all levels. In de end Pestano will continue to be victimize and that selector will most likely get ah promotion.
