Darren Ganga, captaining the Redforce.
I had plenty respect for his leadership, he wanted a team , not a group of individuals, like what we saw with Richie Richardson, Lara and captains since Viv.
Sir Frank set the stage for leadership, Clive and Viv continued wanting the best ten to accompany them.
I am of the opinion Clive and Viv, interest was winning and to have a group of soldiers representing the region

i had lots of time for Ganga and Lambert's (Ja) captaining ability

also Johnson's (Guy).

Sorry - I meant at WI cricket level…in any event how many regional titles did Ganga win. - compared to Tamar Lambert and Leon Johnson?

I was not looking at titles, but the way he led the team.
There was an incident that one of his top players refused to participate in an exercise, which resulted in him not being selected for the next match.
Thats the kind of leader Ganga was, wanting a unit, and not a group of individuals

Here is what I asked:

Name me one successful Tittie captain in the history of WI cricket?

By your logic, Kraigg led a successful WI tour to South Africa

My view on captaining a cricket team has changed with the advent of technology.
It is something I have been writing about, almost 3-5 years.

That is like asking him to give the value of a division by zero.

A captain should have the duties of every other team sports.
You already know what I think of a cricket captain, why have the technology and leave it up to someone on the field, especially a West Indies team, with unproven players.
Next match you watch, listen to the commies and video of what they are saying, see how quickly changes are made.
India vs Australia is an example of how well these countries are using the technology and changes are made, during the inning.

You wouldnt include Kemar Roach? haha
and Bravo as captain - are you kidding
what about Kyle? He seems the most effective of the bits and pieces cricketers

I am reserving my position until the end of the Headley Weekes series (which I still think should include an international A team). With respect to naming a successful Tit captain, I dont know if the logic is that since Lloyd and Viv are arguably our most successful captains, all future captains must come from Guyana or Antigua.
