Walden grad etc he is a 'business' grad so we we should expect good things in that department...

his biz degree from Sunderland is with good company

i heard him on radio when John interviewed him and i was less than impressed...he was dwelling too much in abstraction...for example when asked about the commercial model he said nothing ...i guess he has the secret up his sleeve

i have read these sorts of manifestos too often to be excited

I want to see how he will do the commercial bits on the ground and the governance

- this one gonna happen? and does it include the directorship structure?

to be fair to swallow, the west indies commercial viability is dependent on their performance, and the west indies has been inconsistent since 1995, and woeful since 2011

. What attracts or attracted people to west indian cricket? Lightning pace bowling, uninhibited strokeplay and extremely evervescant crowds. Curtly Ambrose in POS 1994 cleaning up England is a perfect example. But now, we don't have any of those elements. The team is more conservative than the church, we only produce medium pacers for the most part and the crowds have left West Indies cricket. My dad started working in the late 70s and he told me, in Trinidad, people would be given time off to go and watch Viv and co play, in much the same way that Brazilians get time off to watch brazil at the world cup. M uncle, who's an engineer in JA said the exact same thing.

To get the West Indies brand viable, you have to get the West Indies team winning again.

People who have been in the arena, understand a heck of a lot more than those sitting on the sidelines.

I had a close friend who had a degree in Political Science and when he got involved in Elective Politics he said REAL POLITIK is a completely different ball game.

ey if yuh do laugh you'll cry. The fall of the West Indies is one of this century's great tragedies. Dr Rowley played golf with viv recently and wondered out loud how a cricket team and culture that was so exceptional could degrade so quickly. And people does play dey doh care about WI cricket anymore, especially in TT. but let the WI get even close to a winning position, they'll all be glued to their televisions, computer screens and phones
