26 overs, 2 hours and 20 minutes is all it has taken Australia to finish the first innings here at Vizag. An exhibition of fast bowling by Mitch Starc, who made the most of some early swing to dismantle the Indian top-order.

Sean Abbott: There was a bit in it with the ball today. The guys set the tone at the top - Starc and Green. Pretty important that we finished off the innings and kept looking to take wickets. We saw a clinic from Mitch today as we've seen before in the past. The conditions since we've arrived here in Vizag, there's been a lot of rain and there's a bit of humidity around. We did see a little bit of swing early and a little bit of seam. It was nice for all of us to contribute and get the ball in the right areas.

Was a quick one. Only 37 overs you don't see usually. Starc with the new ball put them under pressure.


Rohit Sharma:
If you lose a game, it is just disappointing, We didn't apply ourselves with the bat. Didn't put enough runs on the board. It wasn't a 117 wicket. Kept losing wickets and that didn't allow us to get the runs we wanted.
