Only two nonwhite countries have almost zero corruption - Singapore & Rwanda! That's all, mih done.
In reply to Dukes
Mih colleague Dr. Thomas Singh has been talking about this for several years..one link below...
The cards are stacked in favour of the occurrence of the resource curse in Guyana
here's an interesting paper as well
As a citizen, my biggest worry is that we do not have a plan beyond 'build things'...but i can't go beyond that with details...i don't understand economics
In reply to doosra
It is not a matter of economics, it is a matter of corruption and the lack of strong NGO's in Guyana.Practically everyone of consequence in Guyana belongs to one of the two tribes. Those that do not lie low and cozy up to the party in power because they can and have welded that power to destroy any dissent.

Do the white countries conduct that survey
In reply to Halliwell
Dotardballs says that it was the porn star that paid off the dotard president of The United States of Dumbfcukingstan.

I looked up the Corruption Perception Index and found several 'non-white' countries ranked above Rwanda including ones in the Caribbean and in Africa?
so what amazes me is the number of people really sure Guyana will not be able to handle all this new business
from zero to big promise of wealth, a few years on the go
of course there will be a shortage of a lot of controls, this stuff is new; there will be lumps taken, mistakes made
but every tom dick and harry turn expert and want to see stuff in place immediately
..but to say Guyana is going nowhere sounds like a roast breadfruit looking wuk
Another point to consider is that when greedy people see opportunities for profit, they will clamor for piece of the action
One must look at the situation in Guyana - two local parties, one of which will run things when elected, until the other gets a turn - their benefactors are Guyanese
The greedy people I am referring to, is not the locals, but the folks from outside looking to get in on the action by creating needs - EXXON already there, plenty more queueing and waiting for an opening
Allyuh want to see corruption - check di USA - yes some a dem do end up in prison but di corruption continues on and on.
Get back to me when Bannon and Trump are in prison. I won't even mention di son in law

Don't waste your time with his nonsense.
Almost every country he thrashes was once
corruptly exploited and ran by the same white countries
he boasts of. If not they'd be perhaps as poor and corrupt as those he derides.
In reply to Chrissy
We gonna have to replay Mia's interview about which countries are corrupt, it was pure gold
