In reply to nitro
Just saw your post.
A serious and dedicated businessman
He was 86
In reply to Chrissy
Yeah, business man who supported his country.
RIP
Even here in the UK, I buy my stash of Lasco, whenever I visit Harlesden.
Just bought some in Harlesden yesterday.
I remember the huge court case against Pfizer
Takes a special person to get past the racial abuse as a kid and achieve higher heights. RIP.
In reply to Curtis
Racial abuse is common in these parts. It took me years to come to deal with the racist terms used to describe most people in the Yard. Words that are banned in other parts of the Caribbean just roll out.
People are described by race, colour or national ethnicity and many are shocked that some of us find it really upsetting.
Worked with him when I was in advertising back in the day! I didn't know he was that old!
May his soul RIP!

A lot of people don't know LASCO is more nutritious than Horlicks and Milo

I have never been a fan of dem sweet milky drinks other than milkshakes and ice cream. Abandoned Horlick for coffee from my teenage days.

That's what our colleague Runs couldn't handle in the Yard, so he didn't settle there. Maybe Shiv too.
My paternal grandmother was (affectionately) called Miss "C". No worries.
RIP! think he was a real patriot.

I think you should revisit Horlicks it's nutrient-packed without artificial sweeteners. It's been a main staple in India for donkey years!

Nah. By the way my mother said I hated porridge and most cereal. Whether its corn flakes, rice crispies, Cheerios or whatever, keep dem from me. I actually like granola and granola bars and oatmeal cookies.
