An Illegal Bowling Action is where a player is throwing rather than bowling the ball. There is no official angle at which the arm must be on release of the ball, and quite frankly I find the comments that people have made here quite absurd. The rule over bowling involves flex in the arm during bowling - chucking. Its about not bending his arm more than 15 degree according to rule .
