If the ICC had made the rule that the top 4 at this qualifier event qualifies for the WC in India, we still would not have made it.

Let that sink in and please don't tell me we had one or two selections wrong as the cause.

All those who wish to keep the WI intact- please tell what is your plan and how will you implement and execute your plan- in other words how will you get the job done?

There were many warning signs- when we failed to get into the main draw at the last WC T-20 should have been the final straw, but CWI huff and puff, Pooran resigned and a review was done in paper.

When Holder said they were keeping out outside noise in response to Hooper's lame comments, he had to be reminded that Hooper was not an outsider- now tell me, if something was not very rotten even before the tournament started?

no, we are just an ordinary minnow (and coincidentally we giving minnows a bad name with this horrific fielding). I would crown Scotland as the current King of the minnows. By making it to the Cup, Netherlands is now in the rarified atmosphere of being a super minnow.

Thanks. I needed that. I am mostly wrong these days because five years or so
I thought Namibia and Nepal would be on the top of the heap of the Associates and
heading for Full membership only to see Netherlands ,Oman and UAE making giant
strides. Those countries will only get stronger as Associate League competitiveness
is serious business.
This does not argue well for who have become Waste Indies. Seriously.
The growing acceptance of cricket internationally( China is even in the picture now with
Women's game in its infancy ) and even Brazil has a small program and we know such
counties will be serious if the game takes any kind of root.

West Indies roots are shallow at this time and that foundation needs fertilized thinking, commitment
wisdom and ...MONEY spent well too to begin a process that will arrest decline and ensure a future
that will reclaim the past greatness.
I am no pessimist but neither am I optimistic, just yet.
