Is Joseph as good as the commentators make him out to be? l'm beginning to wonder. He has been wayward and has hardly bothered any of the openers. But even worse, he has been expensive. As the leader of our pace bowling attack, he just has not impressed.

Alzarri Joseph....Too Expensive
In reply to Hendra
His body language indicates he is not happy with something....

As always

Are you aware Curly is the commie that brought the topic, and said he spoke to him about it.
Why would think something is wrong, when one of the greatest already spoke to him?

Purty Boy Ambrose 'talks to no one'. Alzarri is 'Brose homey and protege what other body language you expect.
In reply to Hendra True and needs to produce some variation. Effective yorker as well.
He has talent and pace but he is indisciplined. Unable and incapable of bowling 6 good balls in an over. Maybe he should go back to Winston Benjamin for a refresher course.

Ambrose was among our most economical (measly) pace bowlers. If he was to take half a page from Ambi, he would be able to build pressure and consequently have a much better strike rate.
But you're right, he lacks the discipline necessary to excel at this level.
Bowls way too many freebies. He is guaranteed to give you at least 2 deliveries per over on the batsmen pads.
In reply to Priapus
But this is very disappointing given that he's been around for so long
He's now an experienced campaigner. Our players instead of growing, they seem to regress.

The pitch maybe
Dat boy got all the talent, but he smell up de place real bad now.
By now, Alzarri should have been a household name. He got the pace, but his line and length need consistency.
At the rate this team is going we would be better off playing the status quo like Hope, Chase, Bonner together with young Athanaze, Tage and Brathwaite
Team:
Brathwaite
Chanderpaul
Hope
Bonner
Athanaze
Chase
Da Silva
Holder
Joseph
Roach
Motie
Haynes have nothing on this team,
