I just witnessed a fit Bairstow running between the wickets.
After the last wicket, he race to the dressing room, two of the boxes that Corwall cannot fit in to.

I maintain, Cornwall is unfit for test
In reply to openning
Chase is also unfit, why single out Cornwall?
In reply to camos
chase is unfit and talentless...at least cornwall can hit a ball. but he really needs to get fit
Cornwall is a giant of a man - 6' 6' and over 140 kg - the heaviest man in world cricket!
People see his size as a disadvantage but if we think outside the box we'll see the huge upside!
They don't use the term handicap in horse racing lightly!
In reply to Jumpstart
has Chase been selected for any tests in this series?
In reply to camos
I am not related to Chase, so why bring into the post?
yeah, well...
Few WI players are statistically or technically fit for any type of cricket.
So why hold physical fitness against Cornwall?
In reply to XDFIX
Dude, stop it!

In reply to VIX THE VIRGIN
Because the Wondies are excluding others for not passing a physical fitness test, stupid.

You have made the point I have been trying to make to Opening clearer than I ever could.
If in a weak unfit team with no other Offie doing better in FC would it not be prejudicial
to not pick him? No more 'Rampauling' of men.

'Rampauling'

i would love you to be the keeper and have to chase balls that go past because Jumbo is the lone slip

And the fcuker just stands there too and just watches. Normally if the keeper chases the ball the sliper goes to cover the stumps. Not Jimbo.

In reply to sudden
how many times did that happen? perhaps once in Bangla and once here at home in about 10 tests.
I remember seeing Baugh and Shotta chase balls certainly not to the boundary but to sqare-leg.
By the way I'm not defending his 'unfitness' I did say it was poor of him not to tough it out in Colorado.
What I am defending is the fairness of picking the best offie who can give you more runs than not chased to the boundary
hold more slip catches and take more wkts than his competition...as long as he doesn't die coming back for two
In reply to SnoopDog
Talk about huge exaggeration .. .but his point is substantial

I kept wickets, and the first time I saw Josh running after a ball, while Cornwall could only watch, I stated then, then guy should find another hobby or sport.
Playing for Antigua and the Leewards maybe okay, but moving to the International level is troublesome.
Watching Bairstow running between the wickets, especially running to the anger end, tells me one has to be fit.
He now wicketkeeping, not off the field after scoring 99 not out.
In reply to openning
Josh need the work. Keeps him fit.
If the Wall belonged to the Cartel would we be having these discussions.
Any person can see cornwall is not fit for this level

Cricket fit or physically fit - not all fit is equal!
In reply to XDFIX
That is quite profound there Bro.
