What better word to describe the current state of Windies cricket? What that be irretrievable when all hope is gone of them ever returning to those Glory days?
Is there any "Shai of Hope" that there could be another Windies batsman to capture our imagination and dominate world cricket like so many have done in previous decades? Briefly, I thought there was one, but now all Hope is gone.
Are you, like me, starting to believe that the decline, the disunity, and the difficulties in Windies cricket have no end and unfortunately no solution?
Call me a pessimist in his autumn years.
