Heath Streak is no more. The former Zimbabwe captain and fast bowler passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 49.
Henry Olonga, Heath's bowling colleague from his playing days, took to social media to pay his tribute. "Sad news coming through that Heath Streak has crossed to the other side," wrote Olonga on X, formerly Twitter. RIP legend. The greatest all rounder we produced. It was a pleasure playing with you. See you on the other side when my bowling spell comes to an end."

Zimbabwe legend Heath Streak dismissed the rumours of his death, saying he was alive and well but 'hurt' by the false news spread on the social media. Former Zimbabwe pacer Henry Olonga had communicated the news of Streak's death, but he has since retracted his story and confirmed that the 49-year-old is still alive.

Boy cancer is one scary disease. Saw some photos of him with his wife and children in his final months and the dude looked a little more than skeletal. Denyse Plummer looked the same in her final months

A warning to even younger men....colon cancer is a serious killer. Marsahall died of it in his 40s, recently a jazz musician died at 40, the actor Chadwick Boseman, and now Streak before 50. Have colon checks at 40 at latest guys!!!
