The perceived inconsistencies found within the Bible..

I am not trying to change anyone's belief in their religion. I just find this book amusing. Can I list my reasons why?

Numerous fundamental arguments that question the rationality of Christian concepts are based on the perceived inconsistencies found within the Bible. Many people who self-identify as atheists frequently emphasize the contrasting narratives offered in the book of Genesis concerning the creation myth, along with the inconsistencies observed within the accounts of Jesus' resurrection.

Individuals holding a skeptical perspective contend that the Bible, being predominantly a historical document written by fallible human authors,lacks the necessary credibility to serve as a dependable basis for the development of a religious system.The credibility of the narratives is open to scrutiny from skeptical individuals, who express their distrust by pointing out apparent inconsistencies within the stories.There exists a contention that the Bible,which was written solely by people who are prone to error,exhibits a deficiency in historical precision.Consequently,it is posited that the Bible should not be granted a higher level of importance than a folklore account that is passed down through generations.

The notion of biblical infallibility constitutes a major principle embraced by followers of fundamentalist Christianity. The conclusion is conveyed through the process of "reasoning," which argues that God,as a divine being,lacks the ability to produce incorrect interpretations and engage in deceptive actions.Is it possible to verify this statement?If the texts were produced by an entity deemed infallible,it would be logical to expect that they would lack any internal inconsistencies.This is because a collection of writings authored by different individuals across various time periods over many centuries would inherently be susceptible to containing contradictions.
Given the aforementioned context,it is imperative to analyze some biblical viewpoints on many subjects.I am highlighting a few.


The Sabbath Day
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” — Exodus 20:8
“One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.” — Romans 14:5

The Earth
“… the earth abideth forever.” — Ecclesiastes 1:4
“… the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” — 2 Peter 3:10

Seeing God
“… I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” — Genesis 32:30
“No man hath seen God at any time…”– John 1:18

The Power of God
“… with God all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26
“…The LORD was with Judah; and he drove out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.” — Judges 1:19

Injury
“…thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. ” — Exodus 21:23-25
“…ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” — Matthew 5:39

Circumcision
“This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.” — Genesis 17:10
“…if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.” — Galatians 5:2

Punishment
“The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father…” — Ezekiel 18:20
“I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation…” — Exodus 20:5

Resurrection
“…he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. ” — Job 7:9
“…the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth….” — John 5:28-29

PS.. This is a debate I have been having with a prominent theologian, this is my latest submission to him

The one I am referring to has this fascination about my dead mother and a friend. Plus he sees me everywhere with numerous handles...speak to himself on threads..sounds like a real winner that one...

Any one that doesn't believe in this black book of fables are deemed by numerous names..I welcome such.
I have this theologian boxed in..should be interesting to see his response.

T&T had numerous pray days: T&T had an increase in criminal activities

I did to the COP,the Minister Of National security and my favourite the Archbishop of T&T.
He fired a lady after 20 plus years of service to the catholic Church, she even received papal blessing.
Then the directors hired a white girl,a niece of a director.
She and her mother are very poor, I found out and hired the best lawyers to represent her in T&T over the last 5 years.
They are trying to find out how her mom and her have survived living on a 3,000 T&T pension per month.I have been supporting them financially.. High Court in may '23...cant wait.
