When you reach the top as Lloyd did, the only way left is down so yes, the decline started under Lloyd. By reaching the top he forced the decline to take place. The decline therefore only accelerated under Richardson, Adams, Hooper, Lara, Shiv, Sammy, Holder and Braff

To return to the top Windies must return to the old model of developing our players overseas. Today opportunities are global not just UK and in more formats and with much more cricket being played.
ie Windies cricket needs to be nimble, stop fighting w the players and their T20 contracts. See these are useful platforms.
We need to address playing spin. Recent ODI final and T&Ts dominance highlighted weaknesses in batting spin.
