GK : Blake (7.5) didn’t do much and blameless for the goals.
RB : Limbikisa (7) but for a couple defensive miscues he was for me the best right back performance I have seen from a Jamaican in recent memory. Surprisingly substituted.
CH : Bernard (7) quite disciplined and steady.
CH : Pinnock (7.5) made some timely tackles to thwart goal opportunities for the Canadians. But for his part in the Canadian goal, I would have given him a 9.
LB : Leigh (7) I repeat, Jamaica’s best left back. Just the same, he played a crucial role in the Canadian goal.
RM : DeCordova-Reid (7.5) did well in attack and coming back to defend.
CM : Latibeaudierre (6) industrious defending but harmless going forward.
CM : Johnson (6.5) had a decent game but is not the creative threat, which is sorely needed, however, Coach Grim has made it clear Ravel Morrison is not a part of his plans.
LM : Bailey (5) wasteful in front of goal, bushing three chances including a very clear one. Cost Jamaica a result and perhaps the game.
F : Nicholson (7) hard to grade Jamaican forwards when their passes are being supplied by Pinnock. Did put away his chance.
F : Stewart (5.0) good to see him get on the pitch in a game of this magnitude. Not quite ready but the experience will help him.

NOTES:
1. Those talking about “Jamaican speed” need to stop with the stupid talk. I watch Canada repeatedly run by Jamaica players the last goal was the worse when Lareya ran effortlessly by Phillips (fresh legs) and Johnson. WHAT JAMAICAN SPEED?
2. Coach Grim, against better teams you need a creative midfielder and that individual is not in the current squad.
3. What of Omari Hutchinson?
4. No Lowe, however, Bernard did well in partnership with Pinnock.

Jamaica miss Gray big time today!

The team is stagnant, no progress against a top rated team!

Absolutely. What Gray can do is create goals for himself. There's no one else on this team that can do that, so they need a creative midfielder. The Coach is either incapable of coaching a team with a CM or Ravel (the current best candidate) must have greatly upset him.

Looks like the one man that can score for Jamaica and it's Bailey,Canada doh look good up front too although they scored with a good one man effort. The first half looked like no team could score.Hopefully a better second half.I always wonder, why do these teams use the flanks more often,Jam got speed and playing it wide could open up the game, more excitement and I feel goals could come specially for the Boyz.

I didn't see the Yard equaliser and neither did see the Canadian winner,I lost interest because I didn't see the typical Jam team,no individual skills speed and fight.Better luck in Canada.

The defense were poor …the midfield was invisible…I can’t complain with your assessment of the forwards….Antonio took one look at the pitch and decided he wasn’t having anything to do with it big grin

I think we sometimes have to "put up" with good overseas players but also with a sort of Primadonna attitude.

Great win away from home to get into the COPA!

GK : Blake (9.0) made some spectacular saves especially in the first half. It sure helped in the final outcome.
RB : Lembikisa (8.5) I repeat what I said after the first Canadian game, turn over the right back position to the young man, he has earned it.
The way he guarded Alphonso Davies was commendable.
CB : Lowe (7.5) a decent shift very industrious. Held up well playing CDM
CB : Pinnock (8.0) very stable and heady. Also went forward on occasions. Made key interceptions and markings in the 2nd half.
LB : Leigh (7.5) Jamaica’s best left back. Hope not a serious injury.
LM : Gray (8.5) easily one of the best in CONCACAF, his class shows with every touch. Set up two goals in the first half which were missed. Has to keep his cool, we needed him in the dying moments on the pitch.
CDM : Latibeaudierre (5.5) contributed to the first goal against us. He needs to be dropped from the squad and Lambert recalled.
AM : Johnson (6.0) tires his best, however, his best is not good enough. He lacks the creativity a serious CONCACAF team needs.
RM : Bailey (4.5) was he there? I would not play him on the right side, I would play him on the bench.
F : Nicholson (9.5) Missed a chance set up by Gray in the first half, however he came back spectacularly in the 2nd half.
F : Reid (7.0) worked more in defense. Kept his cool and scored the penalty.

SUBSTITUTES
D : Hector (7.0) was very solid.

COACH : (positives) he made key changes at the right moment. (negatives) He needs to stop cuddling stupidity and (1) realize Bailey is a liability on the Jamaican team – BENCH HIM!(2) stop being infatuated with Latibeaudierre (3) fall in love with Ravel Morrison again.
Congratulations Jamaica!

Truth is the team plays at high school level.

Gray is clearly the best player on the team and perhaps the only one at Int'l level...don't understand the brain cramp today...but a win is a win

You have to give the coach credit for a willingness to "think outside the box", but, but Lowe is a high rass risk player...dat facter is always an inch or 2 away from a red card.

No Sah! Bailey has "dovecot" himself without my assistance.

Gray, Pinnock, Blake, Antonio are international top class players.
Nicholson, Morrison are very decent international players.
For the record, Bailey - fairly decent club player.

Agreed, Lowe is a risk of getting down to 10 players in a hurry. He was begging for this tonight. Just the same, he manned the position quite well. Hope this spells the end of Latibeaudierre. Lambert until either Hayden or Baker sort out their circumstance.

I would not say the team play at high school level, I would say if you put mismatched product (players in wrong positions/formation not ideal for the team make up), over-hyped players (into "must start" role) and ignore players of quality (Ravel Morrison) then you get what you see on the field. They are not playing good football. In fact, I have seen better quality football from T'Dad that I have seen from Jamaica the past 5 days.
