This is such a sticky situation because it’s so easy to argue both ways but what’s disappointing is that Bravo top the charts 2 years in a row and can’t even make a 15 man squad so what’s the point of Super50 then???

What’s even more sickening is the fact that if they weren’t going to pick him in the ODI’s why the efff is he not in SA then with a chance to be in our Test Team???

Could a possible reason be that Haynes see our batters as the best in the world, that the team he picked could stand up against any bowling attack in the world?
That all the others batters he picked is better than Bravo.

We dont have the luxury to exclude our best performing players…even if it is expected that Bravo wont be around for the WC in 2027 there is no reason why he cant be in the team now while we build around him….2027 is a long way away - there is no guarantee that the younger players will perform….if we are going to reset every 2 years it is difficult to build a winning culture….
I’ve said it a number of times the horse trading selection policy has been a millstone around the neck of West Indies cricket for decades….then to add insult to injury we are also saddled with an unqualified coach….
