Rutherford showed his inexperience at this level, he may have got away trying to hack it at club/regional level but this is a different level.
Shepherd is an enigma, he can bat, he can bowl. But it rarely seems to pay off.

He can more effect a match with his batting than his bowling on most occasions .i dont think he is a opening bowler or even a first change bowler that is the issue the wi are going to have against stronger batting teams going forward .

Rutherford can't be blamed. The scoring rate had to be increased and he tried to do it. Shepherd succeeded but the plan to both was the same. Rutherford can bat still better to persist with him.
