From the 11 that played today, I still believe that Bravo would have been a better selection for number 3. Carty is not a number 3 batsman. Carty bats at either 4 or 5. At the moment Hope bats at 4 so unless Carty plays over Hetmyer at no. 5, then Carty is really being asked to bat out of position. No 6 is Pooran's spot so Rutherford rightly has been asked to fill that spot. No. 2 is Mayers spot so Athanaze has been rightly asked to fill that spot. We are still missing a proper no. 3 batsman.
Shepherd or Holder should play at no. 7 and right now Shepherd has the edge. Both should not be in the same 11. Motie, Hosein or Chase plays as the left arm spinner or off spinner. Never all three or even two of the three. Walsh or Cariah as the leggie. Alzarri for sure. And one other fast bowler. And when I say fast, I mean fast. Not medium fast.

agreed on all except the spinners. I definitely think that in order to control the middle overs, we need 2 or preferably 3 spinners. Motie is the sure pick as is Chase. For the leggie, I would have gone with Walsh before Cariah. If you look closely at Super50, Cariah's bowling fell off a bit in the last few matches. He was saved by Bravo's good captaincy as Bravo tended to bowl him late and against the lower order batsmen as that coincided with Narine, Hinds and Hosein really taking out the top order. It saved his figures somewhat. In the same period, Walsh just got better and better. During the last period that WI had a competitive ODI team, Gayle and Samuels bowled the middle overs and consistently strangled the opposition. That is why I would definitely go with at least 2 spinners in Chase and Motie and even a third in Walsh or Cariah because an in form leggie is really good when the other side is under pressure and has to try to accelerate.

Agrees 95% with your analysis.
Would keep Motie, Cariah add Walsh as spin options in 15.
Main bowling attack Thomas and Joseph with a good 3rd seamer, and Sheperd stays as 4th with serious mentoring. Chase is dropped. Bravo enters as #3 to help mentor Carty at #5 and Hetmeyer #6 who is placed on a 3 series performance timer.

Agree with Bravo at 3. I think this is currently the wrong format for Carty, he should have went to Sputh Africa for the A series.
Kevin Sinclair is another player who should enter the equation as a spin option.
Terrance Hinds is a player I think has done enough although he is in his 30s which works against some players in the Caribbean.
Now that Dowrich has retired, Imlach should come under consideration as back-up keeper if Pooran remains unavailable.
Mayers, Bravo, Pooran, Seales, Holder, Walsh, Sinclair among the options isn't bad and then Imlach, T. Hinds, Hosein amongst the rest.

I think Hosein and Motie should play all white ball games. They are our best white ball bowlers. At home in the Caribbean on our wickets we should play 3 spinners. On the road play 2 or 3.

I agree. 3 spinners at home and at least 2 abroad because at the end of the day, our spinners are more effective at taking wickets and at restricting runs than seamers like Aljo, for all the hype about Aljo.
