US Muslims pledge to ditch Biden in 2024
In reply to XDFIX
Because of course that's going to work out really well for them.
In reply to SnoopDog
The sad part of it is they will stay home come voting time...after they decide not to vote for Trump.
In reply to SnoopDog
Trump is the viable option - they're inadvertently calling for their great deportation!
Or perhaps they think Biden is trembling in his boots - foreigners take Americans for idiots!
Didn't they put Ilhan Omar on the foreign affairs committee?
In reply to googley
That's why Kamala and Austin made forceful but useless statements.
Useless because just like Netanyahu's wife said of Obama one can be
sure many in the Israeli Govt while cheering their 'Falasha' Me. 'Worl'
are assigning the monkey moniker to both the above.
In reply to SnoopDog
...While Trump planning to deport them en masse. It is said that Republicans vote against their own self interest 100% of the time. We can add Muslims to that list too.
In reply to XDFIX
The new organization, Muslims for Trump, is all set to make their first public announcement. Can't wait.
Afro americans might ditch him too.

What I don't get is why Muslims in the U.S., and elsewhere, aren't outraged enough about the Palestinian situation that they take to the streets in the tens of thousands in every major city to protest, burn effigies, violate diplomatic immunity, threaten Koranic fatwah, etc like then do when someone publishes a caricature of Mohamed?
The entire Muslim world is just sitting back and passively watching the destruction of Gaza. None of either Saudia Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, or even Iran are remotely interested in helping the Palestinians (militarily). I'm almost tempted to say that the only way the Muslim world will threaten Israel is if Haaretz publishes a Mohamed cartoon.
So I have no idea how Muslims in the U.S. expect a complete reversal of American foreign policy, as it pertains to Israel, by abstaining their vote or voting for an third independent candidate and allowing the Dotard a second term.
With the exception of Ross Perot, almost every serious independent candidate in the US is centre or centre left and all they do is ensure the votes are split on the left and the Republican candidate wins.

The Arab World consists of 22 countries in the Middle East and North Africa: Algeria, Bahrain, the Comoros Islands, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
Yet, they're waiting on the great Satan - America - to defend them in one way or the other.
Btw, Israel the 23rd pending!
In reply to XDFIX
America's foreign policy with respect to Israel will never change. Doesn't matter who occupies the Oval Office.
In reply to SnoopDog
Because they support Israel’s actions against the Iran-backed Hamas. Also, the relationship between Egypt/Jordan and the Palestinians has not always been a good one. They (as well as the Gulf countries) think that the Palestinians could be destabilising and do not want to deal with large numbers of them. The history of this region is fascinating.
Besides, the last time they took on Israel militarily, they were smoked.
In reply to JOJO
Good points.
But in my opinion, the only way to get to the 2 state solution is if a coalition of Arab/Muslim countries pose a military threat to Israel. The days of a peaceful diplomatic solution are long gone now that the parties of god have taken hold of both sides. I suspect the fly in the ointment though is Hamas which no one, quite rightly, wants to deal with.
But at the moment, Israel is operating carte blanche because they know they only have to deal with Hamas and Hezbollah who are just a bunch of rag tag terrorists. If a coalition of Arab states and Iran pledge to defend Palestine through military intervention then it would be enough of a deterrent to Israel to just indiscriminately bomb the shit out of Gaza.
Would Israel, despite their considerable military might, risk a full scale war over Palestine?
In reply to SnoopDog
I don't think they will test the waters for the same reason U.S. is not prepared to test North Korea!
That said, Hamas, Houthi, and Iran champing at the bit, but then again, a coward man keeps sound bones!

t
As I said, they tried this before. They were smoked. Israel is now much stronger militarily. Many of these countries now recognize Israel or even opened diplomatic relations. The latest efforts were being made by Saudi Arabia.
One of the most difficult decisions for me is to support Israel, but I still think their conduct warrants a lot of criticism.

Study Protest vote or Protest Abstention from Voting. Brexit is a good place to start. Cut of nose to spite face. Without young liberal voters joining with British conservatives or staying home Brexit would've had no chance of passing
In reply to camos
How so? Both sides deserve criticism!
In reply to JOJO
They were smoked because they were de facto fighting America. This issue could be resolved tomorrow if the west decides to take an even hand, but they will not.
In reply to XDFIX
Waiting on another beauty from Joe Biden but this time to the Jews in America: if you don’t vote Democrat, then you’re not Jewish
In reply to CricSham
If by "even hand" you mean the U.S. will start arming the Palestinians to the teeth like they do Israel, then you may have a point.
Otherwise this is just double speak dotard babble.
In reply to CricSham This issue could be resolved tomorrow if the west decides to take an even hand
What is this equivalence nonsense are you talking about?
Please give your penetrating insight.
In reply to CricSham
You mean during the six day war? Or during the 1973 Arab-Israeli war that lasted 19 days? Where were the Americans?
In reply to JOJO
I would tell them to test the waters, whoever wins controls the Temple Mount and all!
The ironic thing is that Trump has not denounced Israel's action against Hamas and the Palestinian people. He is all for support of Israel also. LOL
In reply to XDFIX
Both Biden and Trump support Israel's genocide in Palestine.
Time to support an independent.
In reply to JOJO
Where were the Americans?
You are not seriously questioning whether America’s power, money, and influence determined the results of those wars? Really?

The problem with independent presidential candidates in the U.S. is that there is no political party apparatus and machinery behind them.
The Dems and GOP parties pretty much make up all of the levels of government - from municipal to state to federal. Those two parties are firmly entrenched in government and have very loyal sets of voters (even more so on the Republican side). It's also very difficult for independent candidates to raise campaign funds to anywhere close to the levels of the Dems and GOP. Without serious money a presidential candidate can't even hope to make a small dent in the ballot much less challenge for the presidency.
That's why the Dotard chose to run as a Republican instead of as an independent. He knew and understood the uphill task for an independent candidate.
However, if a viable third party starts to take root (at all levels of government), then we can legitimately see a third candidate being a serious contender for the presidency. All these minority and special interest groups should look at starting a third party instead of hanging their hats on independents.
