I remember pulling my car over, one snowy day, driving 350 kilos to dance lessons, I hated it, but my wife drove further twice a month in worse conditions, to be a beautiful Ballroom dancer.
It was easy to give up on Carty, but again I applaud Darren Sammy for sticking with the youngster, We West Indies fans want to have things done now, without any preparation on time, seeing you steering into that lab top, tells me, you are your team, are looking at every game.
I get it, I am a supporter, good luck on your journey.

At my age, I still work my butt off at golf and dancing, none of them I can be good at, but I try.

It was good that the coaches give Carty a chance in a crucial match, hopefully Carty keep on improving in the ODI format, although IMO he is more suited to the Test cricket format.

I think he’ll be a good test and odi player. Would be interesting to see if they include him in the team for the australia tests

Thankfully Sammy is a patient Leader and will not listen to you armchair pundits who want to drop him after 2 innings @ 3 and 16 ODI innings overall.

I hope your support will be objective enough to offer criticism well necessary. One of Carty's area for improvement is knowing how to up his S/R once he has played himself in. There has been instances when he bats with a top-order batsman and the field is spread wickets aren't falling and his sr goes down rather than up.
