Players to watch for West Indies!
The only players to watch for:
Jordan Johnson
Little Hetty

Aljo must prove himself in this series, lets look at his U19 couter-part playing at the test level.
Kemar gave Pointin headaches on one of his earlier visits to Australia, Aljo must be that type of bowler in this series.

Why are you not participating in the FL , since you have your "picks" ?

Agreed. The quicker bouncier tracks should suit his skillset and I am hoping for a breakout series. Realistically the only way for West Indies to compete is to restrict Oz to 300 -350.
aljo need a better coach, I called this a few years ago. He will be a just a tad better than Darren Powell really, if he dont wise up

agreed. For someone who has now been playing test cricket for over 6 years, he really has not progressed. One Fifer only in all this time?? A lot of pple swear by him because he can crank it up over 140kph but so could Tino Best. Nuff said.

A poster made the point Joseph never won a series or game for Windies in the manner Shai Hope does repeatedly. Joseph was bought for a trailer load of cash by IPL. faf du Plessisis we are looking at you. Hope otoh was recruited for peanuts. VOR pitched a bitch at this opinion and got so angry he lost his phony trini accent.
Joseph was mis-used when he first started to play Test cricket, for years he was used as a second change bowler although he was the second fastest bowler on the team, by the time he bowled the ball had soften up. However, he has to start being more strategic in the way bowls, too many loose balls when starts his spells.

That was a why he didn't always get the new ball
Angel and roach were more consistent, along with being his seniors

Yes that point was already invalidated. Please quit spreading misinformation. Just another Hater!

Are our coaches up to par with modern teaching methods?
I see players returning tour after tour with more flaws than before.
Just look at Tage and Kraigg.
Anyone behind Kriagg will be given a gift, AJ showed it to the world in the Super 50, and Tage gives catching practice to the slips.
Joshua still has not improved his offside drives since the last English tour, bowlers continue to cramp him with balls pitched on a length on the off stump.

I find that AJ depends too much on which side of the bed he gets up on.
I say this because he can swing from one side of the pendulum to the next between innings...
a case of self awareness may help and only then will any coaching make a difference.

8 years after his debut is not a bad time to ask him to give a good series
