Desmond Haynes as a selector is the worst decision i have ever seen an organization make.

i'm sure you know the story of a broken clock.

Anyone with a brain would've prefered to see Hope (the #1 batsmen in the region) batting down the order instead of Hodge. There's no way you take so many inexperienced players to debut down under.

He was not the only one making these asinine picks. Kirk and SJoseph are the only that look a cut above the rest and with the potential to play test cricket.
People get carried away when a player make a stroke play textbook style and he is right away called a sure pick or one to watch.
Nonsense.

You think the coach doesn't know who he wants?

Some of us have been in this Rumshop for over 25 years, repeating this same after every game and series.
The system is the problem.

Well, Haynes selected the better of the real mediocre players, however the selections might help WI cricket going forward as some of these players will improve from the experience of the exposure and thus raise the standards of the F/C season in the regional matches.

Didn’t Hope refuse a call-up? Many guys who should’ve been called up long before Haynes was selector were ignored and allowed to fall through the cracks. Now they’re so big in Franchise you dare not call them

Remind me.
Maaan you have a talent like Hope, double hundred and hundred at Lords, he goes through a bad patch. What what they did, kept batting him in the same position and opening with him until they discard him.
Why not drop the guy down the order, let him regain his confidence with an older softer ball. Steeuupes!
